This summer, our rising juniors participated in a wide variety of meaningful opportunities that allowed them to explore their interests, develop new skills, and grow both personally and professionally.

Now, they're ready to share their experiences with you.

At the Junior Summer Symposium, each student will present about their summer opportunity, summer job, or family vacations and reflecting on what they learned, the challenges they faced, the skills they developed, and how the experience has shaped their goals for the future.

As a volunteer or community guest, your role is simple but incredibly meaningful. Visit student presentations, listen to their stories, ask questions, offer encouragement, and engage in conversation. Your presence helps students build confidence in sharing their experiences and reminds them that their voices, ideas, and growth matter.

We invite community members, educators, mentors, families, Breakthrough Houston supporters, and anyone interested in celebrating student achievement to join us for this special event. It's a wonderful opportunity to learn about the experiences our students had this summer while supporting the next generation of leaders.
