Breakthrough Atlanta Student Application


Thank you for your interest in Breakthrough!  Students and parents should carefully read all of the information below. 
Breakthrough Atlanta (BTA) is a tuition-free, six-year, year-round program that provides a pathway to college for Atlanta's middle and high school students.  Our goals are to ensure our students are on track for high school and college while developing critical thinking skills and maturity to make wise choices about school and life. We do this through our 6-week, academic based program and our Saturday programming throughout the school year. Application deadline is April 8th, 2024. Interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis.
Breakthrough is committed to selecting a class of students who approximate the ethnic, racial, religious and cultural diversity of our city.  Breakthrough accepts students regardless of race, creed or color; we are committed to selecting a diverse group of students who benefit from the program.

Breakthrough Atlanta is a tuition-free program. However, we require commitment, dedication, and full participation from our students and parents. Upon admittance to the Breakthrough Atlanta program, families will be provided with the program dates, attendance policies, and behavior expectations.
